Alex outlines the difference between a request and a demand, and why most of us confuse the two. She explains how to make requests that are specific, doable, present-moment oriented, and genuinely open to a “no.” The session gives practical tips for crafting actionable, non-coercive requests that support mutual understanding and connection, not power struggles.
Here we explore how our inner dialogue is often loaded with judgments of ourselves and others. Alex introduces the "jackal" (judging mind) and "giraffe" (compassionate awareness) metaphors. She shows how shifting from moralistic judgment to needs-based thinking helps transform blame into curiosity and conflict into clarity. The key: judgment is the gateway to understanding our unmet needs.
Needs are the heart of NVC. Alex unpacks what a need really is, an expression of life moving through us. She invites us to drop below the story, judgment, and even feelings to touch the pure energy of what we are needing. This session guides participants to see their needs not as burdens, but as gifts, beautiful longings that can inspire meaningful connection.
Alex Hanley explains how Nonviolent Communication invites us to connect with our needs and express them with compassion, not demand. It’s about deep empathy, both for ourselves and others, and learning to identify and untangle our judgments to meet everyone’s needs, including our own, with care and creativity.
Feelings are signals that point us to our unmet or fulfilled needs. In this video, Alex highlights the importance of emotional literacy and clears up common confusions (e.g., “I feel abandoned” is not a true feeling). Using feeling cards and embodiment practices, she guides viewers to connect more deeply with their sensations, to increase both self-awareness and the capacity for connection.
Explore how stress affects us right down to our cells, and how daily practices like breath, movement, and nourishment can support your body’s natural healing response.

In the spirit of the hero's journey, we hope to make your realize that this burnout that you may have experienced is here to lead you through to a breakthrough and really living your most fulfilling life from now onwards
Again, we have curated a selection of wonderful practitioners who we hope will enlighten you with different systems and modalities to transform yourself and thrive, for real.
By now, you may have understood that we are not just a physical body made of bones and flesh. We are a permeable membrane to people & energy around. Therefore we need to take care of our energetic field on a daily basis so we resonate & attract what serves us rather than vibrate and therefore attract what is not serving our higher potential. Priscilla will help us understand this magnetic field that resonates around ourselves and give us tips to reconnect with what we truly want.
Now is the time to conclude this journey. Last session but not the least! What else could we talk about if not gratitude ? Let’s tone our mind and learn to engage with positive emotions - specifically gratitude. Are you already practicing gratitude in one form or another? Do you know the science behind such practice ? Did you know that our mind has a biais for negative thoughts because it is wired to screen danger ? And this is particularly true when we are tired and overwhelmed. But the good news is that we have the power to rewire and change our mental state. Its all practice and we invite you to listen to Dr. Praneet Pal to learn why and how to do that.
Our voice is another access point to our nervous system. So here we encourage you to explore this very powerful tool with Simone. Sounds, our own sound (aka our voice) and the sound of specific instruments and frequencies can really foster a sense of relaxed awareness and ease. The good news is that our voice is with us at all times!
Sound Alchemist Simone Niles will first give us an explanation about sound healing, its uses, and the benefits of working with vibrations to restore your body's natural state of harmony. Then we will be invited to lay down and receive powerful frequencies !
This strength that we just discussed during the previous Human Design session is really an inside out strength. Call it inner power, confidence, alignment. Simone will build upon this key topic and offer us an investigation into our inner dialogue and how we can build a healthy relationship with our inner dialogue. The way we converse with ourselves truly matters, especially through recovery and especially after we have arrived on the other side of the journey. There is no return and how the voice inside of us can serve our everlasting wellbeing.
